Thousands of Chrysler autoworkers went on strike today. The UAW is seeking job security pledges like it was given form GM. Chrysler wants health care concessions that GM and Ford received in 2005. Another sticking point is how much Chrysler would pay into the UAW run trust for retiree health care costs. Chrysler is now a privately held company owned by Cerberus Capital Management.
